Join Meghan Ball, Assistant Winemaker from Linne Calodo for a Winemaker Dinner. Butch’s Dry Dock Sommelier, Bruce Shultz, and Executive Chef Ryan have designed a wonderful coursed-meal planned around four Linne Calodo wines. The pair got to taste exclusive barrel samples of these bold reds & full rosé, and are excited to bring the highly sought after selection to you in our private wine cellar.

Butch’s University: Beer 101

April 25th & May 2nd & 9th @ 6pm.

This series will cover the science behind how we serve, taste, and evaluate beer. We will discuss the influence historical beer styles have on contemporary beer. We will walk through the brewing process, highlighting each ingredient used, and it’s flavor contributions. We will taste different malts and hop rubbings, and taste beers fermented with different yeasts. We will focus on certain beer styles and palette-pleasing food pairing concepts.

$20 per person, per class.

Chateau Fountaine Winemaker Tasting

Wednesday, May 16th from 4-6pm.

Join us on the patio for a tasting with Chateau Fountaine, a Michigan winery located on the Leelanau Peninsula. They produce many dry white wines, a couple of semi-dry and semi-sweet selections, popular dry red wines, and a delicious local cherry wine. Chateau Fontaine now grows 15 varietals and produces some of the most awarded wines in Michigan. Chateau Fontaine has garnered world distinction for several of their white wines, even creating buzz about their award-winning vintages in “Wine Spectator”.

Dablon Vineyards Winemaker Dinner

Wednesday, May 23rd @ 6pm.

Join Dablon Vineyards for a Winemaker Dinner in our private wine cellar. This Michigan estate focuses on the marriage of Old World techniques with New World methodologies. Their 2015 Dablon Cabernet Sauvignon is the first Michigan wine to be awarded 90 points from “Wine Enthusiast”.

$75 per person.

Wyncroft Winery Winemaker Tasting

Wednesday, May 30th from 4-6pm.

Join us on the patio for a tasting with Wyncroft Winery, a family-owned estate winery located in the glacial moraine hills of southwest Michigan. Their proximity to Lake Michigan provides a unique micro-climate, perfect for growing many of the noble vinifera grape varieties from which the world’s greatest wines are made. Wyncroft wines carry a specific pedigree and quality commitment, but don’t require cellar aging and are priced to enjoy anytime.
